Budget-Saving, Science-Based Wellness Options
Maintain your health and wellbeing without breaking the bank
What’s up?!
Hello, wellness enthusiasts and budget-savvy warriors! 🌿
Maintaining our health and wellbeing doesn’t have to break the bank in today's fast-paced world. Inspired by a recent insightful thread, we’re exploring affordable and effective health options that can significantly enhance your life. From simple dietary tweaks to mindful practices, these strategies are all under $100 and backed by science.
Ready to boost your health without breaking the bank? Let’s dive into these top 10 budget-friendly health options!

Top 10 Health Options Under $100:
Tablespoon of Olive Oil Before Meals: Consuming a tablespoon of expeller-pressed, extra virgin olive oil before meals can aid digestion and improve heart health due to its rich content of monounsaturated fats and antioxidants. However, I would shoot for a higher quality option on this one. Cost: ~$10+ per bottle.
Walking Barefoot: Also known as earthing, walking barefoot on natural surfaces can reduce inflammation, improve the shape of your feet, your posture & sleep, and enhance mood by reconnecting you with the earth’s natural electrons. Cost: Free.
10-Minute Home Workout: Incorporate a quick, effective workout routine at home. Bodyweight exercises like push-ups, squats, twists, and planks require no equipment and can improve strength and cardiovascular health. Yoga is a fantastic option, and, in my mastermind, I regularly post new updates on exercises and practices you can do almost anywhere. Cost: Free.
Post-Meal Stroll: A short walk after meals aids digestion, regulates blood sugar levels, and supports cardiovascular health. Move more often! Don’t remain seated for longer that 90 minutes. Follow my 5:30:90 Rule. Five-minute break to move, stretch, breathe, renew for every thirty minutes of work, and don’t go longer than ninety minutes without a break. Cost: Free.
Drink More Water: Staying hydrated is crucial for overall health, including energy levels, skin health, and digestion. Invest in a reusable, stainless steel water bottle to ensure you drink enough water daily. Remember that water is an ergogenic aid that can boost performance and improve biochemical and physiological function! Cost: ~$20 for a high-quality bottle.
Avoid Refined Sugars: Reducing your intake of refined sugars can improve your energy levels, mental clarity, and overall health. Focus on whole foods and natural sweeteners instead. Follow my Superhuman Energy Guide on Skool.com for my top hacks to sustainable energy. Cost: Free (with conscious dietary choices).
Healthy Midday Snacks: Opt for nutritious snacks like fresh fruits, nut mixes (low in peanuts and cashews, though), and yogurt (I like vegan options or grass-fed, organic Greek options) instead of processed options. These provide sustained, caffeine-free energy and essential nutrients. Cost: ~$10 per week.
Vegan Protein Powder: Adding a vegan protein powder to your diet can support muscle repair and growth, especially if you’re active. Look for one with minimal additives. Why vegan and not whey-based? Simple. Whey is dairy-based and increases your vulnerability to respiratory issues. I explain how in my mastermind. Cost: ~$30 per container.
Forest Bathing: Spending time in nature, also known as forest bathing, can reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and improve mood and mental health. Simply visiting a local park or forest can provide these benefits. Take at least a monthly trip that brings you closer to nature, whether camping, a beach day, etc. Cost: Free.
Stretching Routine: Incorporate a daily stretching routine to improve flexibility, reduce muscle tension, and enhance overall mobility. I also recommend regular inversions, like headstand, to get your heart higher than your brain and trigger a reflexive relaxation loop. Cost: Free.
Integrating These Health Options into Your Routine:
Morning Routine: Start your day with a glass of water with lemon and a quick stretching session. Take your olive oil before breakfast. I like to do at least 10 minutes or breathing (pranayama) or mindfulness meditation.
Daily Habits: Incorporate barefoot walking and post-meal strolls into your daily routine. Keep healthy snacks on hand and stay hydrated throughout the day. Move more often and integrate micro practices that keep you following my 5:30:90 Rule.
Exercise and Nature: Find time for shorter 5-10-minute workouts, instead of just one longer one (you can still do the longer version) and plan regular trips to a nearby park for forest bathing or learn in my mastermind how to integrate nature into your household no matter where you live.
In Case You Missed It: Additional Affordable Health Tips
DIY Massage: Use a foam roller or tennis ball to give yourself a massage and relieve muscle tension. Cost: ~$20.
Breathing Exercises: Practice breathing techniques to reduce stress, harmonize the nervous system, boost energy, and improve lung function. Cost: Free.
Home Gardening: Growing your herbs or vegetables can provide fresh produce and be a therapeutic hobby. Gardening is a sacred healing art that is often forgotten. Cost: ~$30 for seeds and supplies.
Embracing Affordable Health Practices
Integrating these cost-effective health options into your daily life can significantly enhance your wellbeing without a hefty price tag. Remember, the best health practices are often simple, natural, and accessible.
